Program Description
Hometown Inspections LLC ("Hometown Inspections," "we," "us," or "our") operates an SMS/text messaging program to communicate with customers and prospective customers about home inspection services. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from us related to your inspection request, scheduling, confirmations, reminders, report delivery, follow-up questions, customer service, and occasional service-related notices.

How You Opt In
You consent to receive SMS messages from Hometown Inspections only after you affirmatively provide your mobile phone number through one of the following methods:
- Submitting a scheduling, quote, coverage-check, or contact form on hometowninspections.com and agreeing to receive text messages.
- Providing your mobile number to one of our team members over the phone or in person and confirming you would like to receive text updates.
- Texting us first, which we treat as your consent to respond by text.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. You may still book an inspection and receive service without opting in to text messaging.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the status of your inspection and your interactions with us. On a typical engagement you should expect roughly 2–10 messages from scheduling through report delivery, plus any messages you initiate. We do not send recurring marketing broadcasts.
Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Any charges for sending or receiving text messages are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Hometown Inspections is not responsible for any such charges. Please contact your wireless carrier for pricing details about your text and data plan.
How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting "STOP" to the number from which you are receiving our messages. After you send "STOP," we will send you a confirmation message and then stop sending SMS messages to you. If you want to join again, simply sign up as you did the first time and we will resume sending messages.
How to Get Help (HELP)

Supported Carriers
Our SMS program is available on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy & Sharing of Mobile Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of personal data described in our Privacy Policy exclude mobile opt-in information and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Information we collect in connection with our SMS program — including your mobile number, your carrier, and the date, time, and content of your messages — is used only to deliver the service you requested, to operate and improve our messaging program, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy. We may share this information with service providers (such as our SMS platform provider) strictly to help us operate the program; those providers are contractually restricted from using the information for their own marketing.
Eligibility
You represent that you are at least 18 years old, that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number you provided, and that you are permitted to receive text messages at that number. If you change or deactivate the mobile number you provided, you agree to notify us promptly at help@hometowninspections.com so we can update our records.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date at the top reflecting the date of the most recent revision. Your continued participation in the program after a revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
