Insurance Inspection FAQ
The inspection takes about 45 minutes to an hour for most homes. We provide reports same-day whenever possible.
The wind mitigation portion typically takes 15–30 minutes. Homes with impact glass or shutters may take slightly longer to document correctly.
Solo inspections are $129 (regularly $149). If you bundle both 4-Point & Wind Mitigation, the total cost is $169. No hidden fees.
A 4-Point is a rudimentary safety check of your home's four major systems:
Electrical
- Service sizing & wiring age
- Panel brands (Zinsco/FPE checks)
HVAC
- System age & performance
- Primary heating methods
Plumbing
- Material types (Copper/PEX/Poly)
- Water heater age & TPR valves
Roof
- Permit history & age
- Signs of active leaks/deterioration
